He had not been himself for about 3 weeks. The vet said he had a cold. But he had labored breathing, we would catch him standing in one place and not moving for long periods of time, he wasn't eating and all of a sudden he starts peeing on the kitchen floor, and his belly was bloated. He was 10 years old. He was scheduled to be euthanized at 4:30 but he laid down and took his last breath at home at 2:30.
