How we came to be friends is a somewhat unusual story...She was my oldest son's girlfriend back in high school. She's 30 now, but I was always cool with the kids and his friends always ended up calling me mom. Anyway, Barbra has a sister named Amber. Amber is a meth head and has lost custody of her 2 kids. They live with her mother and she's never done any of the things she's supposed to do to get her kids back. Recently Amber came up pregnant. (Birth Control!) After seeing her twins she's carrying, she went out and had an abortion. I don't know how anyone could have an abortion after seeing them alive inside you...It's really sad...True she would be a terrible mother and probably lose custody of them as well, but Barbra says this isn't her first, nor even her second abortion. That is the sad part. That all this could have been avoided if she would just use birth control.
